The Texans will face the Broncos in Denver at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. Houston will try and remain one of the NFL’s few remaining 2-0 teams while Denver looks to bounce back after a tough loss last Monday to the Falcons. The Texans have used both the offense and defense to get by and have won games against both the Dolphins and Jaguars. Their test against the Broncos this Sunday will be much bigger a task though.
The Texans have so far beat nobody of significance with easy match ups against easy opponents. The Broncos present a very good game and will face a familiar foe Sunday in Peyton Manning. For years the Houston Texans faced Peyton when he was with the Colts for years before landing in Denver this offseason. Houston even had a significant amount of success against Manning and was beating him more often then most the rest of the league was.
Denver comes into the game with a 1-1 record. They got off to a slow start in Atlanta last Monday, which saw three quick Manning interceptions. He settled down and gave Atlanta a scare late, but ultimately came up short. In week one, the team got a big win against the Steelers on Sunday night. This is certainly going to be a good game in Denver and should be watched by anyone who wants to see two probable playoff teams.
