Houston will travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars this Sunday at 1 p.m Houston comes into the game with a 1-0 record while the Jags have the opposite. The Texans win came against the Colts last Sunday while the Jaguars fell to The Vikings in a game that came down to the wire. Houston is known to have the weapons in key positions, but Jacksonville did show they can compete as they just fell short last week.
Houston was very productive offensively and scored 30 points against Indianapolis. They had 337 yards in all including 250+ through the air. Defensively they were even more productive as they gave up just 275 yards and 10 points. Andre Johnson had a great touchdown catch on a very difficult sideline catch. He adjusted to the ball well and was able to tap two feet down to get the score. Houston should be able to get a victory, but Jacksonville did show some serious signs of improvement.
Starting offensively, the Jags were able to get over 350 yards of offense with nearly 250 through the air and over 100 on the ground. Defensively, however, they showed that they are filled with holes. Against Minnesota they gave up nearly 400 yards of total offense. Adrian Peterson ran all over them while Ponder got plenty of his own by the way of pass. Given this, maybe the game could go either way, but my money is on Houston.
PREDICTION: HOU 32 JAX 10
